Join to learn new skills, camp, make friends, and have fun!

Meetings

Pack 794 welcomes boy and girl scouts from all cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds.

A Cub Scout Pack is made up of Dens.  Pack 794 is made up of five Dens, one for each grade from 1st - 5th (boys and girls)! Dens typically meet at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) twice a month, and this is where scouts solidify friendships, work toward advancement, and learn the value of teamwork.  Once a month, the five Dens come together at OLPH as a Pack to recognize achievement by individual scouts and for fun activities like Pinewood Derby, Raingutter Regatta, and our annual Blue & Gold Banquet.  In addition, scouts in Pack 794 love to go camping! We typically go on two overnight camping trips per year -- one in the Fall and one in the Spring.

Community Service

Pack 794 is proud to serve our community through the Scouting for Food and We Remember programs, as well as several other projects throughout the year.

Annual Dues

Annual dues for Pack 794 are $105* for the 2023-2024 scouting year. This includes a one-time joining fee of $25 and an annual fee of $80**. For only $15 for the year, Cub Scouts may subscribe to Scout Life magazine. There may be additional local program fees and/or dues. That's right, only $105 for a year of fun, friendship, and adventure!  Dues cover registration fees/liability insurance with the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), the Cub Scout Handbook, and other Pack activities and materials.  Dues do not cover the Cub Scout uniform, and may change from year to year.

*Price subject to change / **Effective August 1, 2023

Youth Protection

All Pack 794 adult leaders undergo background checks through both OLPH and BSA.  In addition, all our adult leaders are required to maintain BSA Youth Protection Training certification annually. To find out more about Pack 794's commitment to youth protection, please see: http://www.scouting.org/Training/YouthProtection.aspx

Fundraising

We keep dues low by supplementing our budget with Fall popcorn sales and Spring Camp Card sales.  Fundraising activities give scouts the opportunity to take ownership of their scouting experience and have a long and storied history.

Volunteering

Parent/guardian involvement is the key to Pack 794's success.  There are many ways you can volunteer, from large to small.  Please use the contact form to let us know how you'd like to volunteer.
